Rescuing trapped firefighters is a difficult task under the best conditions. It doesn't matter what you call it, RIT, RIC or FAST. It's a practical approach to saving our own. Our program is 20 hours of high energy hands on training. We teach methods that the average firefighter can apply daily without the need for specialized equipment. We teach the removal of firefighters using nothing more than common sense and minimal tools.
