Tom Pond is a career Firefighter/EMT with the Fairfield Fire Department in Connecticut and a certified Fire Instructor. Tom is a graduate of the ConnecticutFireAcademy Recruit Training Program and a recent graduate of the State of Connnecticut Fire Marshal program. He also has an extensive background in electrical engineering, having owned and operated his own electrical contracting firm which specialized in fiber optic and computer network installations. Tom specializes in training industry in OSHA requirements and provides refresher training to the construction trades. Tom also has an extensive background in data management, specializing in Firehouse Software TM. He is also a Hazardous Material Technician and is certified in confined space rescue.
