Brett Kirby, originally from England, has been in the fire service for 13 years. Having started as a volunteer firefighter in Pennsylvania in 1992 Brett is now a career Fire Lieutenant and a Emergency Medical technician in Westport, Connecticut. Brett beacme a Fire Service Instructor in 2001 and specializes in all rescue disciplines such as rope, high angle, structural collapse, trench and confined space. Brett has served on CT-1 USAR as a Rescue Specialist from the teams inception in 2003.
